A number of flashy cars have made their debut at the North American International Detroit Auto Show this year too. But, an article at Business Week reports that this year, auto-makers are taking the concept cars more seriously than ever. Many of the excellent concept cars were launched at the show including Lamborghini Miura concept, Aston Martin Rapide, 2007 Mercedes Benz S65 AMG, Ferrari FXX and Nissan Urge with Xbox 360.



The other luxury sedans that are making waves are Toyota F3R that is better known as party van features interiors resembling like that of a limousine with its nightclub’s VIP lounge, complete with high-fidelity sound system, two flat-panel video screens.



Ford also unveiled its new luxury sedan Ford Reflex that features 20-inch wheels, reverse butterfly-doors, and a glass roof. The car is eco-friendly too and features solar panels in the headlights and taillights charge the car’s hybrid-electric battery pack, solar panels on the roof power fans to help cool the car while it’s parked.
